Now don’t get me wrong, I do believe that you should have a list, in fact I was list building before I even heard of internet marketing. I built a list of around 5500 in 1985 for my off line ironmongery business and instead of the internet I used snail mail, but that said I have to ask you to take a look at the facts.

Watch out! I’m going to talk about the “S” word! Sales! I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that a lot, if not most, internet marketers who are struggling are having a problem with the general notion that they are sales people.
Why do I think this?
Well, because quite frankly, most business people have trouble with sales, with accepting it as the engine that runs any business. No sales, no business. Sure there are other parts of a business that are important–accounting for instance. But take away accounting and what do you have? A potential financial mess–but it’s a fixable mess. Take away sales, and…well, there’s no business to fix.
